George Williams is one of the co-founders of Gambling ‘N Go (GNG) and the mind behind ensuring the website is safe and productive. While the idea was Howells’s, he had the necessary entrepreneurial spirit, which was so valuable after years of working in managerial and advisor roles, to invest in it and dedicate his time. He does not consider himself a workaholic despite thinking about his projects 24/7, simply because it is as natural as breathing for him.
George's experience with casinos was limited to the land-based ones, which he had visited on a few vacations, and also when business meetings involved a casino resort. It was his colleague and Gambling 'N Go co-founder who presented online casinos to him back when they were still students.
George is not responsible for auditing the content at all, although he already knows precisely how online gambling and all its forms work after his first contact with it. Instead, he takes care of the security and financial department, two crucial parts of the project that demand the expertise that he gathered after years of working in financial advisor roles at managerial levels - including in companies like John Deere and Procter and Gamble.
Not so much into games of luck when it comes to his money, George prefers sports betting. That is the type of gambling that gives him a sense of control, something that a pragmatic businessman like him needs.
As stated before, the idea of Gambling ‘N Go came from Howells, who presented Williams with the idea of a website about online gambling, something he wasn’t aware of. Back then, they were both studying at Brigham Young University and discussed possible projects. No business plan came out of their discussions, but it planted a seed that would become Gambling ‘N Go in due time.
While his friend Christian did start a similar project after concluding his Majors, more bingo-related though, George kept studying. He acquired his first MBA in Finance at the same university. While doing his second MBA in entrepreneurship, he attended the Winter Business Economics Conference in Utah and, by the will of unknown forces, met his old friend Christian there.
He was surprised that his friend actually followed his own path and started a website of his own based on their past idea while he was establishing a more traditional career. Inspired by Christian, they kept in touch and finally decided to go on with that first project, which was way broader than what Christian had, and that would encompass all forms of online gambling.
The premise could not be truer: there was a lack of trustworthy information on online gambling, especially when it came to a worldwide scope. Gambling ‘N Go was born, and George Williams received the role of making sure that the project would remain safe, always in working conditions, and manage its finances. Working for big companies had granted him more than an above-average salary.
George had his share of traditional office work, even with all the fun business meetings, and is finally at peace with a project of his own. He knows that Gambling ‘N Go has a long way to become the #1 portal on online gambling, but the challenge sounds like music to his ears. Within due time, he expects the team to grow with experts from all around the world to help them with that goal.
