Fire Bet
The Fire Bet in craps is perhaps the best-known side bet, and it comes with appealing payouts. Per the rules of the Fire Bet, you wager on the number of unique points that will be established and won by the shooter before they roll a 7. There are only six available points to make so that you can bet on an outcome from 0 to 6, and we’ve listed the usual payouts in the table below:

---|---|---|
6 | 999 to 1 | 20.76% |

Point 7
Point 7 is a simple craps side bet, and per the rules of this bet, you wager that the shooter will roll a point on the come-out roll, and then they’ll roll a 7. Should this happen, you will win the Point 7 side bet and win a 7 to 1 payout, with an 11% house edge.
Different Doubles
The Different Doubles side bet in craps is attractive, as it is based on the shooter rolling doubles before they roll a 7. So, you wager that the shooter will roll the dice, and these will land on doubles, but you need to bet on the number of unique doubles you think will be rolled before the dice land on 7. The table below shows you the payouts for the different number of combinations:

6 | 100 to 1 | 27.9% |

1 | Loss | 27.9% |
0 | Loss | 27.9% |
Ride the Line
Ride the Line is another side bet you can place when playing craps. Per the rules of the Ride the Line side bet, you wager on what you think the total number of pass line wins the shooter will win before they roll a 7. You can only place the Ride the Line side bet before the first throw, and you’ll win the bet if the dice land on a 7 or 11 on the come-out roll. You can also win after the shooter establishes the point and rolls it again before they throw a 7. The Ride the Line craps payout depends on the number of pass-line wins the shooter gets, and we’ve listed these in the table below:
Number of wins | Payouts | House Edge |
---|---|---|
11+ | 50 to 1 | 9.27% |

Small, Tall, and All Bets
The Small, Tall, and All Bets is a group of three side bets you can play when playing craps; you can also find this side bet referred to as Bonus Craps, Diceology, or Lucky Roller. Per the rules, you wager that a group of numbers will be rolled before the dice land on a 7. Here are the three available options:
- Small – you’ll win the bet if the shooter rolls a total of 2 to 6 before they roll a 7
- Tall – you’ll win the bet if the shooter rolls a total of 8 to 18 before they roll a 7

Muggy’s Corner
The Muggy’s Corner side bet in craps is simple yet exciting, and you need to place it before the come-out roll. Per the rules of this bet, you wager that either the come-out roll will be a 7 or if the come-out roll is 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, or 10, and the following roll is a 7. In the first case, when the come-out roll is a 7, you get a 2 to 1 payout; if the come-out roll establishes a point and then the dice land on a 7, then you get a 3 to 11 payout.
Low Dice/High Dice
The Low Dice/High Dice side bet is a variant of the Big 6 and 8 craps bet, and it is a one-roll bet. Per the rules of this bet, you wager that the dice will land on a specific number, namely on the Low or High Dice side.
- Low Dice Bet – if the dice land on a 3, 4, 5, or 6, you will win and get a 1 to 1 payout; if the dice land on 2, you get a 5 to 1 payout; the bet loses if any other number is thrown. The house edge is 5.55%.
- High Dice Bet – if the dice land on 8, 9, 10, or 11, you win the bet and get 1 to 1 payout; if the dice land on 12, you get a 5 to 1 payout. You lose the bet if the dice lands on any other number; the house edge is 5.55%.
